Important Update (November 2025)

As some of you may be aware, our courier Fastway has gone into liquidation. We are currently in a transition period while we get fully set up with a new long-term delivery partner. It is still business as usual at KID - with the same excellent customer service you expect - but we have some temporary updates to share. 

During this time:

  • We are still dispatching orders multiple days each week but just cannot offer next day delivery during the transition

  • Heavier and bulky such as wooden kitchens, workbenches, lockers, and larger furniture pieces may take up to a week to ship 

  • If your heavy item order is not a Christmas gift (i.e. is needed asap), please email us and we will mark it as urgent for priority handling

  • Our shipping rates have been temporarily updated during this transition (details below)

Shipping Rates and Options

Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland

  • Orders under €99: €7 courier delivery

  • Orders €99 and above: FREE courier delivery

  • Large / Bulky Items (7kg+) Some larger wooden items and furniture pieces (typically 7kg+ or oversized/volumetric items) require a €7 temporary surcharge during our courier transition. (e.g., wooden kitchens, lockers, workbenches etc.)

    • Please note: to keep everything running smoothly during the courier transition, we’ve added this small temporary surcharge for bulky items. Thank you so much for your understanding - it helps us keep doing what we love: delivering beautiful products to your family.

Mainland UK

  • Registered post: £7.95

  • No additional duties or taxes (shipped from Northern Ireland)

  • Orders typically arrive 2–3 days after dispatch, but please allow up to 5 business days if planning for a special day

  • If you need your order urgently, please email us and we will do our best to prioritise it

Pickup (NI)

Available at our Northern Ireland Head Office:

Flurrybridge Enterprise Park, Lower Foughill Road, Unit 1, Block C, Jonesborough, Newry BT35 8SQ

You’ll receive an email notification when your order is ready.
Please bring your email confirmation when collecting.

Address Requirements

Please ensure your address is fully complete, including eircode/postcode.
 Incomplete addresses may result in delays or misdelivery.

During busy periods, we cannot always guarantee that we can reach you for missing details.
 Orders mis-delivered due to incomplete addresses cannot be refunded or replaced.

Tracking and Deliveries

  • A tracking link is provided with every order — please use this for real-time updates

  • In rare cases of courier delays, we can investigate and reship after two working days if the parcel has not been located

  • While courier delays are outside our control, we will always advocate on your behalf for the fastest resolution possible

Furniture & Large Items

  • Mustard Lockers and most large furniture items typically have a lead time of 3 weeks

  • During the courier transition, dispatch of heavier items may require up to 7 days

  • We sincerely appreciate your patience with these larger, more complex shipments

Preorder Items

  • Orders containing preorder items will ship once all items are available

  • If you need other items sooner, please place a separate order

    • Note: Additional shipping fees may apply based on order value
